From 1950 to 2005

In 1950 Lex Weyer senior quit his job as typographer
in a printer company in Luxembourg and began to create
advertisements and illustrations.
At the side of Pe'l Sclechter, Raymond Mehlen and Maurice Benoy,
he was one of the pioneers of publicity in the Grand-Duchy.

The company got its actual name in 1965 “lex&pit weyer”
when Pit Weyer, after finishing his studies of graphic-design
in Essen (Germany), comes back to his fathers atelier.
Pit Weyer brings a good knowledge in typography
and in illustration.

The most important private companies of Luxembourg,
most of the official administrations and nearly all cultural
institutions were one or several times clients of our creative
advertising company.

The countless posters for luxembourg theater productions
and for the "Loterie Nationale" contributed to the propagation
of the company name after 1965.

Lex Weyer junior, after his studies of visual communication
at the university of Essen, collaborated temporarely
with the agency of his father Pit.

In 2003 Lex junior joins definitively the agency and brings in
his experience acquired in other companies as
the Centre de Ressources Multimédia of the CRP-Henri Tudor
and the communication agency Pep (now: Advantage).

In July 2005, dead of Lex Weyer senior.

2006
The company relaunches its activities with Pit Weyer as creative
director and Lex Weyer as art director.
